This module is a Serial (TTL)-to-Ethernet converter module. This module is very useful for connecting a legacy serial device to an Ethernet network. It supports a virtual mode of operation. In virtual mode, one can configure the board as a PC COM port, which enables to run of legacy application software based on a standard PC COM port.
